ASA15: Symbiotic anthropologies: theoretical commensalities and methodological mutualisms
13th-16th April 2015, University of Exeter
Conference convenors:
Samantha Hurn, Ann Kelly, Tom Rice, Katharine Tyler, Hannah Rumble and Andrea Butcher
The 2015 annual conference welcomed over 310 social anthropologists and other social scientists to a sunny, warm Exeter in Spring. There was a Firth lecture by Anna Tsing (Professor of Anthropology at University of California, Santa Cruz), three plenaries, a closing debate, two laboratories, 37 panels, and various other events to enjoy. By all accounts, it was a great success - congratulations to all who contributed to this event.
You can read a review of the conference in Anthropology Today Vol.31, Issue 3 (if you have access).
