Apply hosts occasional meetings around the UK. Upcoming meetings will be announced here and through the mailing lists.

Apply's last get together was on 24th June 2008 in London. Members discussed workshops about applied anthropology for postgraduate students that will be funded by C-SAP in 2008-9. The workshops will be convened by Rachael Gooberman-Hill, Fiona Harris and Kathryn Tomlinson. More details will follow.

Applications of Anthropology seminar series

Applications of Anthropology was a series of three ESRC-funded workshops, convened in collaboration with the ASA and CSAP.  The first was a conference exploring the different ways anthropologists make use of their skills in industry, development, the NHS and in the media. The second explored the training needs of anthropologists working outside the academy, and the third explored examples of existing and possible future training programmes.
