Profiles of Applied Anthropologists

These profiles have been written by anthropologists who work in a variety of settings. We have written personal accounts of our work to illustrate some of the applications of anthropology. We hope the profiles will give you a feel for how we came to work in applied anthropology, what we actually do, and what we think of it.

If you have any comments about the profiles, please do get in touch with the profile editor, Rachael Gooberman-Hill. Rachael's contact details are in the directory, as are those of most of the profile writers who feature here. We update these profiles annually. These profiles were last updated in Ocober 2012.
