Postgraduate Network
Click here to learn about Student Associate Membership of the Royal Anthropological Institute. The ASA postgraduate network is managed by postgraduates through the online initiative Anthropology Matters. Visit the site to register your details and research interests on our growing contacts database.
Developed by post-graduates for post-graduates, Anthropology Matters aims to stimulate discussion on the production of anthropological knowledge through a focus on training, teaching, research and writing. The site features an academic journal edited by postgraduates, and a directory of anthropologists and their research interests. Currently under development is a discussion forum, where the cutting edge issues will be debated by the emerging generation of anthropologists – you! The site will also feature a data bank of teaching and learning resources, to which your contributions are both welcome and encouraged.
What is more, the site has an associated email distribution list, for advertising conferences, seminars and jobs, and for sharing ideas. Join the list now!
We encourage all those interested in anthropology to use and contribute to this website.
Contact us and get involved. We co-hosted the new postgraduate panel at the ASA Decennial in Manchester. Papers from this will be published in the anthropologymatters online journal.
