ASA Early Career Researchers’ (ECR) Network
Aims and objectives
The Early Career Researchers’ (ECR) Network aims to bring together postgraduate researchers, PhD’s (current or completed), postdoctoral fellows, and early career professionals, from across ethnographic and intellectual backgrounds, to facilitate greater conversations around anthropology as a discipline, a method, and a profession.
Our ojbectives include:
- To provide a common space of contact for researchers, early career scholars, and professionals, brought together through an interest in anthropology and ethnography;
- To provide a safe and supportive environment for researchers to discuss intellectual curiosities as well as professional and disciplinary concerns;
- To promote a diverse and invigorating research environment by encouraging conversations on anthropological/ethnographic research across regions, themes, and methodologies.
